He was a member of Republican Party, which rapresented on te first CLN (Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale) of Pavia. He was arrested on 8.01.1944. He was detented in San Vittore prison of Mailand, and in DuLag of Bozen. He was trasnsported on 5.09.1944 to Flossenburg, where he dead on 29.10.1944
